REALFLEX TECHNOLOGIES LTD. RELEASE THE PHOTON RUNTIME
HMI FOR REALFLEX 6
Are you worried that your SCADA system security is not configured correctly? Can
a careless operator leave a "back door" open for hackers? In the past
you may have suffered extra labour costs to have your SCADA system's security
features painstakingly configured. Even now, can you be sure without extensive
checking, that it was done correctly?
RealFlex Technologies has the answer. Now you can have peace of mind at no
extra cost. The new RealFlex 6.4 provides enhanced security as the standard
default configuration. A comprehensive list of security features, as requested
by our customers, is immediately active.
At RealFlex Technologies we listen to our customers. So when existing RealFlex
customers told us that they would like an all QNX solution, we immediately set
to work. The result is the new QNX Photon HMI. Users of the new RealFlex 6.4
have the option of choosing between our integrated QNX Photon HMI on the same
PC as RealFlex 6.4 or a windows HMI
RealFlex 6 is now available with a Photon Runtime HMI to
allow customers setup a standalone or failover SCADA system which runs exclusively
using the QNX 6 operating system. Where space and cost are of concern, the RealFlex
6 SCADA server and the runtime version of the graphical user interface can be
provided on a single PC solution.
Displays and databases can be created on a FlexView (Microsoft
Windows PC) and uploaded to the RealFlex server, for example in the control
room where the operators can use Photon graphical environment from QNX, to control
and monitor the system with the security, speed and reliability expected from
a QNX real-time operating system.
Features
- System, Historical, Communications and Active Alarm Summaries
are available to see the complete system at a glance.
- Data Summaries with Information and Control tags and
the ability to right click on any tag and edit database parameters are present
- Historical Maintenance and Password Maintenance are also
available.
- Alarm banner shows the latest alarms and displays allow
the operator to see a high quality graphical representation of the system
with display links and superkeys to navigate through the system quickly.
- Displays created with FlexBuilder using WMF, EMF and
BMP graphics and trends are automatically available to the operator using
the Photon Runtime HMI.
Enhanced Security as standard
RealFlex 6.4 offers enhanced security as the default security
system to enforce the highest standards with the ability to create Groups and
Users. Complex passwords can be setup to force users to keep the company standards
for complexity in passwords, lifetime for passwords, restricting re-use of previously
used passwords.
